This is a big story and strange example of a pump and dump. Hundreds of people lost money as a result of this donation.
Crypto Relief said they plan a “thoughtful liquidation” of the donated funds “slowly over a period of time.” Probably to avoid tanking the market.
Though, Business Insider missed part of story. Vitalik regifted these tokes that were “sent to his public wallet by the creators of Shiba Inu coin (SHIB), dogelon (ELON), Akita Inu (AKITA), mwDOGE (mwDOGE) and OURSHIB (OSHIB), blockchain records show,” wrote Zack Seward from Coindesk.
